The drama “We Are All Trying Here”continues to reveal its dynamics with new images highlighting a particularly marked tension between Go Youn-jung and Choi Won-young. A professional relationship in which admiration, rivalry and frustration seem closely intertwined.

At the heart of the story, Hwang Dong-man (Koo Kyo-hwan) tries to find his place in a world where he feels constantly out of his depth. But around him gravitate equally complex characters, notably Byun Eun-ah, a producer with recognized talent. 2 new posters, one of each of their characters, have also been unveiled.

A disturbing rise

Go Youn-jung plays Byun Eun-ah, a self-taught figure who has risen through the ranks of her production company. Starting out in an administrative position after high school, she became an influential producer thanks to her sharp eye for scripts.

Her direct approach and instinct earned her the nickname of «The Axe», capable of cutting through unconvincing projects without hesitation. At a certain point, her influence became such that some directors preferred to approach her directly, even bypassing management.

But this success also attracts tensions.

A rivalry fueled by inferiority

Choi Won-young plays Choi Dong-hyun, CEO of the production company. Faced with the rise of Byun Eun-ah, he gradually develops a feeling of inferiority.

Rather than opposing her head-on, he opts for a more subtle strategy: cold criticism, calculated remarks and constant pressure to keep her under control.

The new images clearly demonstrate this dynamic. In his office, Choi Dong-hyun summons Byun Eun-ah and delivers blunt criticism, creating a tense, heavy atmosphere.

They add: «The opposition between Choi Won-young's experienced performance as a ruthless CEO and Go Youn-jung's determination, as she tries to defend her convictions, will be an important driving force of the drama.»

With its psychological rivalry, “We Are All Trying Here” promises to explore power relationships, ambition and human frailties in a competitive environment.

The drama will air from April 18 at 10.40pm (Korean time) on JTBC and Netflix.
