Get ready for a new dose of romance and twists in 2026! Acting duo Choi Jin-hyuk and Oh Yeon-seo have just confirmed their participation in an all-new drama entitled " Positively Yours "adapted from the successful webtoon of the same name. The project promises a zesty romantic comedy, based on a well-known but still effective theme: a one-night stand that turns two lives upside down... and ends up changing everything.
A romance... that begins in reverse
Korean title "아기가 생겼어요 " ("I have a baby" in literal translation), the drama tells the story of 2 thirty-somethings who had sworn never to marry. Kang Doo-joon (played by Choi Jin-hyuk) is a brilliant, handsome chaebol heir, determined to devote himself solely to his family and business since the death of his older brother. For her part, Jang Hee-won (played by Oh Yeon-seo) is an accomplished career woman, marked by her parents' divorce and her mother's constant criticism, to the point where she has given up on love and marriage.
But a chance meeting, followed by a night of distraction, will shatter their certainties. And when a baby crashes the party... there's no running away from your feelings.
An expected alchemy
The choice of this cast is already raising expectations. Choi Jin-hyuk, accustomed to intense roles (Numbers, She's Different at Night), returns this time in a lighter, but no less touching register. As for Oh Yeon-seo (Player 2, Café Minamdang, Crazy Love), she once again promises to shine in a role combining vulnerability, humor and inner strength. Known for her energy on set and her ability to create a palpable chemistry with her partners, the actress should provide a great dynamic to this unexpected duo.
A modern tone and a universal theme
This drama, which will be broadcast on Channel A at first half of 2026is shaping up to be a "reverse rom-com Here, we don't fall in love to start a family, we start a family... and then learn to love each other. A refreshingly realistic approach that should appeal to a wide audience.
With a screenplay by Seo Hae-won (Love to Hate You) and directed by Kim Jin-sung, Positively Yours combines all the ingredients to become one of the most eagerly awaited dramas of the coming year.
