Netflix has unveiled new visuals for " Cashero" his next superhero drama adapted from the webtoon of the same name. The story follows Kang Sang-ung (played by Lee Junho), an ordinary office worker, until the day he discovers an unexpected power: his strength increases according to the amount of money in his hand. An ability as absurd as it is dangerous... literally forcing him to empty his wallet to save the world.

He's surrounded by his girlfriend Min-suk (Kim Hye-joon), and 2 colorful members of the Korean Superpower Association: Byeon Ho-in (Kim Byeong-cheol) and Bang Eun-mi (Kim Hyang-gi), each with abilities as surprising as their personalities.
Imperfect heroes, unusual powers... and a very human dilemma
The first stills offer a vibrant glimpse of these atypical characters. We see Sang-ung, covered in dust, clutching banknotes in his hand as he tries to protect Min-suk in a chaotic scene. The young woman, played by Kim Hye-joon, is increasingly worried about the power that makes their money disappear as it moves, a nightmare for a couple who were methodically saving for their wedding.

Byeon Ho-in, played by Kim Byung-chul, presents himself as the association's self-proclaimed leader, while Bang Eun-mi (Kim Hyang-gi) supports him with quiet determination. Their powers are highlighted in an almost comical way: he walks through walls after drinking alcohol, she increases her telekinesis tenfold the more she eats. Together, they try to convince Sang-ung to join their mission and use his abilities to save the world, even if it means sacrificing his financial stability.

Cashero will be available December 26th on Netflix.
