The wait is finally over: " Can This Love Be Translated?" the next romance from Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-junghas just confirmed its release date with a new poster published on December 10. Fans can now check off the January 16, 2026the day this eagerly-awaited drama kicks off.
A romance born of words... and misunderstandings
This new series follows the meeting between Ju Ho-jina multilingual interpreter with an unflappable calm, played by Kim Seon-ho, and Cha Mu-heea world-famous star played by Go Youn-jung. Their relationship begins in a strictly professional setting, but evolves through cultural misunderstandings, impossible dialogues... and unexpected chemistry. The synopsis promises a sweet and unpredictable romance, where words (and sometimes their absence) become the heart of the story.
Behind the screenplay are Hong sistersfamous for their hit dramas such as Alchemy of Souls, Hotel Del Luna, The Greatest Love or even Master's Sun. Directing, Yoo Young-eunwho had already made his mark with Bloody Heartbrings his visual sensibility to the table.
The poster revealed today shows the 2 protagonists equipped with an earphone and a receiver, as if they were on the same frequency... or maybe not yet. An intriguing detail that suggests a dynamic based on communication, and all that eludes it. It also features the title "Can This Love Be Translated? accompanied by the word love in several languages, a direct reference to the central idea of the drama. According to the production, the poster " arouses curiosity about the type of relationship that will develop between them "and announces " a story where translation goes beyond words ".
