Entitled « Boyfriend on Demand«The series is now confirmed for release on Netflix in 2026, accompanied by the very first official image, which is already intriguing fans.

A virtual romance between dream and reality
In Boyfriend on Demand, Jisoo plays Seo Mi-rae, a webtoon producer whose love life is virtually non-existent, consumed by a demanding job and a non-stop daily routine. Looking for a relationship without emotional risks, she stumbles upon a device called Monthly Boyfriend, a virtual reality dating simulator.
The concept is simple: experience ideal romances, without consequences, with perfectly matched partners. But faced with these boyfriends who are too perfect to be true, Mi-rae begins to feel something she had long since put aside: a genuine desire for love.

Jisoo and Seo In-guk, a highly anticipated duo
For this new project, Jisoo shares the screen with Seo In-guk, who plays Park Gyeong-nam, the heroine's colleague and professional rival. Brilliant, efficient, but distant and difficult to figure out, his character hides more than one secret and promises to shake Mi-rae's certainties, both professionally and personally.

Originally planned for broadcast on a Korean channel, the series ultimately changed course to become a Netflix original production, a strategic choice that underscores the project's international ambition. Filming began in the fall of 2024 and continued until the spring of 2025, with some scenes shot in the Philippines.
Composed of 10 episodes, Boyfriend on Demand promises to be a modern, bittersweet, and resolutely contemporary romance, exploring the blurred line between virtual love and very real emotions. This marks another important step in Jisoo's acting career and is a title to watch closely for fans of romantic K-dramas looking for original concepts.
