Disney+ is building up anticipation for its next thriller with the release of the main poster and official trailer for « Bloody Flower« . At the heart of the series is a disturbing question: how far can we go to save lives, and at what cost?
The drama follows Lee Woo-gyeom, played by Ryeoun, A serial killer responsible for 17 murders... who claims to have the power to cure all incurable diseases. A claim that shakes the very foundations of justice, ethics and morality.

An impossible trial between faith, law and guilt
The main poster immediately sets the tone: 3 characters stand in tension, arranged like the vertices of an irreconcilable triangle. On one side, Park Han-joon (Sung Dong Il), a lawyer forced to defend the indefensible to save his sick daughter. Opposite him, prosecutor Cha Yi-yeon (Geum Sae Rok), determined to win the case and have Woo-gyeom sentenced to death. And between them, Woo-gyeom himself, presented both in surgical garb, his face masked in an eerie red light, and in prison uniform.
This visual duality crystallizes the drama's central issue: is he a murderer or a saviour? The graphic fissure that runs through the image symbolizes the opposing convictions and moral fractures that run through each character.
«Killing to save the world»: a chilling promise
The trailer opens with a shocking phrase: «Kill to save the world». Behind the idea of an absolute miracle lies a much darker truth: every cure requires death in exchange. Woo-gyeom denies nothing. He claims that his crimes are «experiments» necessary for the development of a universal treatment.
In court, he displays a disconcerting confidence, convinced that Park Han-joon will have no choice but to defend him. His confidence peaks when he says: «Help me prove my true ability in court. I'll show you how to save a life without even using a scalpel.»
This statement fuels doubt: does Woo-gyeom really possess this power, or is he manipulating those around him with a fanatical and dangerous faith? As prosecutor Yi-yeon tries to dismantle his arguments, everyone's certainties begin to waver, including those of the viewer.
Between high-voltage trials, extreme moral dilemmas and ideological confrontation, Bloody Flower promises to be a psychological thriller as disturbing as it is gripping.
The series will begin on February 4 on Disney+, with two episodes a week.
