Disney+ is preparing for the arrival of a mysterious and disturbing thriller with « Bloody Flower«The first teaser and posters have just been unveiled. Starring Ryeoun, Geum Sae-rok and Sung Dong-il, The drama poses a central and troubling question: how far can we go to save lives?

A savior turned prime suspect

The teaser opens with Lee Woo-gyeom (Ryeoun), a doctor focused in the operating room, saving a patient from death. An almost reassuring image... quickly shattered when he appears handcuffed, accused of being a serial killer. The contrast is stark and immediately creates an atmosphere of unease.

Why would a man capable of healing also be capable of killing? The story then shifts between the detention center and the interrogation room, leaving doubt about Woo-gyeom's true motives, while his exceptional gift (the ability to cure incurable diseases) becomes the center of a dizzying moral dilemma.

Three irreconcilable truths

Opposite Woo-gyeom stand two key figures, each guided by an unrelenting logic.
Park Han-joon (Sung Dong-il), a seasoned lawyer, agrees to defend him with a clear personal goal: to save his seriously ill daughter. For him, the law becomes a tool in the service of desperate love.

Opposite, Cha Yi-yeon (Geum Sae-rok), a determined prosecutor, sees only one possible outcome: securing the death penalty and closing the case, regardless of the consequences. Between medical demonstrations, legal battles, and tensions outside the courtroom, everyone acts according to their own convictions.

The teaser's slogan, «A murder to save the world,» perfectly sums up the ambiguity of Bloody Flower, a thriller that promises to blur the lines between justice, science, and morality.

Bloody Flower will premiere on February 4 on Disney+, with two episodes airing each week.
