The 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards were held this May 8 at COEX Hall D in Seoul, bringing together many stars of Korean cinema and drama.
Presented once again by Shin Dong-yup, Suzy and Park Bo-gum, the ceremony honored several of the year's most outstanding productions and performances.
“Made in Korea” and “Our Unwritten Seoul” dominate the TV ratings
On the drama front, “You and Everything Else” won Best Drama, while Park Shin-woo was awarded Best Director for “Our Unwritten Seoul”.
The Best TV Actor award went to Hyun Bin for “Made in Korea”, while Park Bo-young won Best Actress for “Our Unwritten Seoul”.
Other notable awards included Best New Actor for “Bon Appetit, Your Majesty” for Lee Chae-min, and Best New Actress for “Aema” for Bang Hyo-rin.
Park Ji-hoon and Park Jeong-min win film awards
In the cinema category, “No Other Choice” won best film.
Park Jeong-min won Best Actor for “The Ugly”, while Mun Ka-young was awarded Best Actress for “Once We Were Us”.
The award for Best New Actor went to Park Ji-hoon for “The King's Warden”, once again confirming his rise to cinematic stardom.
Visit Naver popularity award were won by Yim Si-wan, Seol In-ah, YoonA and Park Ji-hoon.
