The Korean romantic comedy is about to welcome a promising new title with Would You Marry Mewhich kicks off on October 10 at 9:50pm (KST) on SBS (and on Disney+ in Asia). Led by Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-minThis drama mixes humor, romance and family conflicts around an idea as audacious as it is original: a fake wedding... for the promise of a dream life.
A 90-day wedding for a luxury home
The story features Kim Woo-joo (Choi Woo-shik), heir to South Korea's oldest bakery, and Yoo Mary (Jung So-min), a resourceful entrepreneur. Their agreement? Engage in a sham marriage of 90 days to win a luxury newlywed home worth 5 billion won (approx. $3.6 million).
But this union of facades does not go unnoticed.
An entourage that observes, suspects and complicates matters
Bae Na Ra embodies Baek Sang-hyunan executive at Botte department store and resident of the prestigious Botte Palace. He's the one who puts the house back on the market... but also the one who, suspicious, keeps a close eye on the couple living next door.

Shin Seul-ki lends his features to Yoon Jin-kyungMary, a reserved family doctor who has never dated anyone, is Woo Joo's soul mate. Long secretly in love, she's the first to spot the cracks in Woo Joo and Mary's relationship. Her discreet attachment promises to add palpable emotional tension.

Finally, Seo Bum-june plays a key role: that of Mary's ex-fiancéwho had broken it off after an affair with a colleague. Her sudden return to Mary and her "fake husband" risks rekindling past wounds and fueling an unpredictable love triangle.

A romance under high surveillance
Between pretenses, neighbors' prying eyes, romantic rivalries and feelings that may well go beyond the contract, Would You Marry Me promises to be a sparkling romantic comedy full of surprises.
