The Korean remake of “The Miracles of the Namiya General Store”continues to build its cast with new confirmations. Yesterday we announced that Jang Dong-yoon and Park Hee-soon were in talks for the project, and today we learn that Bae In-hyuk and Yum Hye-ran have officially joined the project, further strengthening an already impressive cast.

Adapted from the acclaimed novel by Keigo Higashino, the drama will tell the story of three thieves who take refuge in a mysterious grocery store where past and present connect. Answering letters from people seeking advice, they gradually discover a secret linked to their own lives.

The series is directed and written by Park Young-joo, and has recently begun shooting, confirming the concrete progress of the project.

An increasingly prestigious cast

With these new announcements, the drama confirms its ambition with a particularly strong cast. Bae In-hyuk, who has recently attracted attention for her performances in a variety of projects (« Our universe« his latest drama to date), continues to establish himself as an actor on the rise. Known for his ability to move between historical and contemporary genres, he is already arousing curiosity about the role he will play here.

On his side, Yum Hye-ran confirms her status as a key actress. Very active in recent years, she has distinguished herself with outstanding performances, capable of conveying intense emotions as well as lighter roles. Her presence adds credibility to the whole project.
