The drama “Sold Out on You”continues to unveil its universe with a new teaser featuring a tension-filled romance... and the arrival of an unexpected rival.
Starring Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Won-bin and Kim Bum, the series promises a romantic comedy where feelings and conflicts intertwine.
A relationship off to a bad start
The teaser opens with a sweet scene in which Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo-seop) and Dam Ye-jin (Chae Won-bin) seem close, sharing moments of complicity.
But this image contrasts sharply with their first meeting. From the outset, their exchanges were tense: insistent glances, cold discussions and categorical refusals.
Matthew Lee is particularly aloof, going so far as to ignore Dam Ye-jin or reject his proposals with direct phrases like «I don't like it» or «No». An attitude that foreshadows a conflictual relationship from the outset.
The arrival of a rival changes everything
As the teaser progresses, their relationship gradually evolves. Behind their differences, the 2 characters begin to understand each other, sharing the same total commitment to their work.
But this fragile balance is soon threatened by the arrival of Seo Eric (Kim Bum), an executive director of a cosmetics company.
Her close, confident relationship with Dam Ye-jin, especially with Matthew Lee, immediately creates palpable tension. A rivalry then seems to develop, hinting at a love triangle.
Between confrontations, evolving feelings and competition, “Sold Out on You” promises a dynamic romance full of twists and turns.
The drama will air from April 22 on SBS and Netflix.
