SBS continues to unveil its new drama “Sold Out on You” with a lively teaser, showcasing a warm romantic comedy driven by a rural setting and engaging characters.

The story follows Matthew Lee, played by Ahn Hyo-seop, a perfectionist farmer who works one odd job after another, and Dam Ye-jin, played by Chae Won-bin, a famous teleshopping hostess suffering from severe insomnia. Two very different personalities, brought together in an unexpected environment.

The teaser gives a first glimpse of their hectic daily lives, as each of them has to adapt to a reality far removed from their comfort zone.

A village that changes everything

From the very first images, Matthew Lee is overwhelmed by the demands of the locals, switching from one task to another, between preparing kimchi and dealing with problems as unexpected as invasive beehives.

For her part, Dam Ye-jin struggles to fit in, especially when she finds herself chasing a chicken, after being severely reprimanded by a leading village figure. But little by little, the warm energy of Deokpung's inhabitants breaks down the barriers the two characters had erected around them.

The teaser also hints at a potential triangle with the arrival of Seo Eric, played by Kim Bum, an executive of a major cosmetics brand, who seems to upset the nascent equilibrium.

As they share moments, Dam Ye-jin finds herself smiling again, while Matthew Lee becomes increasingly attentive, heralding a gentle, gradual romance.

“Sold Out on You”, consisting of 12 episodes, will debut on April 22 at 9pm (Korean time) on SBS and will be available simultaneously on Netflix.
