SBS has unveiled new images from Dynamite Kiss, a sparkling romantic comedy starring Ahn Eun-jin and Jang Ki-yong. The drama will tell the story of Go Da-rim (Ahn Eun-jin), a single woman who pretends to be a married mother in order to get a job, and Gong Ji-hyuk (Jang Ki-yong), her supervisor, who ends up falling in love with her.
A comedy full of misunderstandings
In the teaser released today, Go Da-rim catches Gong Ji-hyuk having breakfast in a hotel and approaches him to confront him. Surprised, he asks her, "Why are you here?" to which she casually replies, "Why else would I be in a hotel? I'm on vacation."
As the conversation turns to a misunderstanding over missing money, the 2 come face to face with Go Da-rim's ex-boyfriend. And that's when things get out of hand: when the latter asks if Gong Ji-hyuk is her boyfriend, Go Da-rim hesitates... before grabbing his arm and declaring: "It's true. Let me introduce you, he's my boyfriend."
The actors talk about their experience on the set
Jang Ki-yong said of Ahn Eun-jin: "She's a wonderful actress, full of energy. Thanks to her, the atmosphere on the set was always positive, and our chemistry was excellent."
He added: "She was like vitamin C for our drama, always lively and spirited. I still remember that moment when we patted each other on the back after the last scene, grateful to have been through it all together. I really want to thank her."
Ahn Eun-jin, for his part, shared, "He's a very versatile actor. He always kept an open mind when we exchanged ideas, which made our scenes more fun and dynamic."
She continued: "He's incredibly thoughtful, observing, listening, and not letting anything get away from him. This sensitivity really gave his character, Gong Ji-hyuk, more depth and nuance."
