A poetic new teaser for Moon River, KBS2's new historical drama

The chain KBS2 has unveiled a captivating new teaser for its upcoming drama Moon Riverwhich blends romance, fantasy and tragedy in the Korea of yesteryear.

A story of souls exchanged and destinies shattered

In this drama, Kang Tae-oh embodies Lee Gangis the story of a crown prince who has lost his smile after the death of his beloved, the victim of a power struggle within the palace. Riddled with grief and driven by the desire for revenge, he lives a reclusive life until he encounters Park Dal-i (performed by Kim Se-jeong), a vivacious young merchant with an uncanny resemblance to the late consort.

But where the former was noble and reserved, Park Dal-i is spontaneous, funny and full of energy. Her outspokenness and resourcefulness turn the prince's life upside down, and he finds himself once again shaken by emotions he thought he'd lost.

A drama of intrigue, emotion and mystery

The teaser also shows the threat hanging over the kingdom: Kim Han-cheol (Jin Goo), an ambitious state advisor, manipulates the machinery of power to serve his own interests. His influence gradually endangers Lee Gang and Park Dal-iwhile new characters, including Lee Woon (Lee Sin-young) and Kim Woo-hee (Hong Su-zu), reveal themselves in the shadows.

Between impossible love, political intrigue and mysterious exchanges of souls, Moon River promises to be a historical drama imbued with poetry and tension.

The series kicks off on November 7 at 9:50 p.m. (KST). on KBS2and will be available on Viki for international audiences.
