The awards season is approaching, and the Korea Drama Awards have just unveiled their nominees for the 2025 edition. Organized as part of the Korea Drama Festivalthe ceremony will take place from October 10 to 19 in Jinju (South Gyeongsang province).
This year, no less than 92 dramas broadcast on major networks, cable and OTT platforms compete in the various categories, alongside their actors and production teams. Public voting will be open from August 28 to September 22.

A festival beyond awards
In addition to the Korea Drama Festival 2025 will also offer a scriptwriting foruma exhibition on the history of K-Dramasa dedicated scripting programand a music festival.
With such a strong competition and a wide range of genres represented, this 16th edition is already shaping up to be one of the major events of the year for the Korean drama industry.
