A new historical drama with high emotional intensity could soon be added to Netflix's global catalog. « 100 Days of Lies«tvN's upcoming production is currently scheduled to air in South Korea, while discussions are reportedly underway for a international release on Netflix in the second half of 2026.
With a prestigious cast bringing together Kim Yoo-jung, Park Jin-young, Kim Hyun-joo and Jin Seon-kyu, The series is already shaping up to be one of the most eagerly awaited historical projects of the coming years.

A spy drama set against the backdrop of Japanese colonization
Directed by Yoo In-shik (Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Dr. Romantic) and written by Ryu Bo-ri, 100 Days of Lies presents itself as a romantic action thriller, rooted in one of the darkest periods in Korean history: the Japanese occupation.
The story follows Ga-kyung, a genius pickpocket recruited by the Korean independence army. Tasked with infiltrating the Japanese General Government in Korea, she begins her mission with personal motivations, playing the role of a fake spy. But very quickly, the line between survival, lies, and commitment becomes blurred, and Ga-kyung begins to pass on crucial information to the resistance.
The series promises a tense narrative, where every decision can cost lives, mixing romance, sacrifice, and deception.
A strong cast and Netflix distribution still under discussion
The four main roles will be played by Kim Yoo-jung, already very familiar to Netflix audiences (My Demon, 20th Century Girl, Chicken Nugget) ; Park Jin-young, noted for Our Unwritten Seoul and When My Love Blooms ; Kim Hyun-joo, leading actress of Hellbound, The Bequeathed and Trolley and Jin Seon-kyu, recently seen in The Price of Confession and Aema.
The series will feature 16 episodes, with two episodes airing each week, likely on Saturdays and Sundays. While Netflix has so far confirmed that it will only be broadcast in Korea, a global release is still being actively discussed for 2026.
