JTBC's next romantic drama The Practical Guide to Love features a heroine as brilliant in her career as she is clumsy when it comes to her feelings. The new images unveiled offer a first glimpse of the character played by Han Ji-min, in a romantic comedy centered on romantic choices in adulthood.
The series follows Lee Ui-yeong, a woman who decides, for the first time, to actively take charge of her love life. It's a belated but decisive decision that will take her on a path strewn with doubts, encounters... and soul-searching.

An accomplished woman at work, irreproachable in everyone's eyes
Lee Ui-yeong works in the purchasing team at the prestigious The Hills Seoul hotel. A respected senior member of staff, she is renowned for her thoroughness, sound judgment and exemplary professionalism. For her colleagues and superiors alike, she embodies the ideal adult: reliable, competent and perfectly balanced.
The recently unveiled images show her concentrated behind her screen, her serious gaze exuding the quiet assurance of a woman in control of her professional environment. In her daily office routine, nothing seems to be able to shake her.

A beginner in love, despite being in her thirties
But behind this perfectly oiled facade lies a very different reality. At over 30, Lee Ui-yeong has never really been in a relationship. For a long time, she waited for a «natural» encounter to happen... until the day she decided to change her strategy and accept blind dates.
The contrasts are striking in the new images: we discover her outside the hotel, sitting in front of a mirror, nervously touching up her make-up before an appointment. A mixture of excitement and apprehension can be seen on her face, revealing a touching vulnerability. In another photo, during an actual tête-à-tête, her embarrassment and tension are palpable, making the viewer want to cheer her on.

The Practical Guide to Love will be broadcast from February 28 at 10:40pm (KST) on JTBC, and will be available internationally on Viki.
