The new drama "Fifties Professionals” is preparing to make its debut on MBC, with a script reading that has already given a promising glimpse of its cast.

This action-comedy follows 3 seemingly ordinary middle-aged men with fearsome pasts, who are forced back into service after a mysterious event. Once at the top of their respective fields, they now live in exile on the remote island of Yeongseon, where they will try to understand what turned their lives upside down ten years ago.

The script reading brought together a solid cast around director Han Dong-hwa, known for his ground-breaking projects, foreshadowing a fast-paced, effective drama.
