The Wavve platform unveils a first glimpse of its new thriller “Reverse”with a poster and teaser that set a mysterious, tense mood.
The drama follows Myo Jin, played by Seo Ji-hye, The story of a woman who loses her memory after an explosion in the villa of a chaebol family. When she wakes up, she discovers she's engaged to Jun Ho, played by Go Soo... a man she has absolutely no memory of.
Between loss of bearings and suspicion, she will try to reconstruct her past to understand what really happened.
Amnesia, secrets and danger
The main poster immediately sets the tone with an intriguing phrase: “Memories erased, truth reversed, suspect everyone.” The visual contrast between a shocked Myo Jin and a cold-eyed Jun Ho reinforces the mystery surrounding their relationship.
The teaser delves deep into the plot. When she wakes up, Myo Jin wonders, “What happened to me?” Facing her, Jun Ho calmly replies, “Remember? We're engaged.” A statement that contrasts with his unsettling attitude.
As the images unfold, the tension mounts. As Myo Jin herself begins to investigate the explosion and her lost memories, Jun Ho reveals an increasingly disturbing side, casting doubt on her true intentions.
With its dark atmosphere and many grey areas, “Reverse” promises a thriller full of twists and turns.
The 8-episode series will be available from April 17 on Wavve.
