KBS2 has released the first images of « Cabbage Your Life« a comedy-drama that promises a radical change of scenery for its main character. At the heart of the story: Sung Tae-hoon, an urban executive forced to leave the city with his family to settle in the rural village of Yeonriri.
Following a sudden transfer, Sung Tae-hoon abandons his city life and his position as manager in a large company. Accustomed to meeting rooms and strategic decisions, he finds himself plunged into a very different daily life, far removed from the pace of Seoul.
A manager lost in the countryside
The first photos show a striking contrast. With his impeccable suit and sunglasses on, Sung Tae-hoon seems almost out of place in Yeonriri's simple, rustic landscape. This image creates a shift that is both comic and slightly pathetic, highlighting the gap between his former status and his new reality.
Despite all this, the character remains true to himself: a determined head of household, ready to do anything to ensure the well-being of his family.
An unexpected transformation
In other images, Sung Tae-hoon appears in the middle of a field, wearing comfortable, dirt-stained clothes. The transition is striking: from businessman to apprentice farmer overnight.
With no farming experience, he will have to learn to adapt to this new environment. It remains to be seen whether this rural life will finally bring him the peace and renewal he no longer finds in the city.
Cabbage Your Life will be broadcast on March 26 at 9:50pm (KST) on KBS2.
