Disney+ unveils new posters for its drama “Gold Land”An intense thriller about desire, greed and human choices.
The story follows Kim Hee-joo, played by Park Bo-young, The story of a security guard at an international airport whose life is turned upside down when she comes into possession of gold ingots linked to a smuggling ring. What seemed like an opportunity quickly becomes a trap, as those around her succumb to temptation.
As the plot unfolds, Hee-joo finds herself confronted not only by others, but also by her own desires.
Characters consumed by their own desires
The new posters feature 5 characters, each embodying a different facet of desire.
Kim Hee-joo appears transformed in front of the gold, her troubled, fascinated gaze reflecting a growing inner struggle. She is described as “a woman awakened to desire”.

As for Woo Gi, played by Kim Sung-cheol, his attraction to gold is self-evident, playing the role of “a man honest about his desires”, whose greed makes no attempt to hide itself.

Lee Do-kyung, played by Lee Hyun-wook and introduced as Hee-joo's lover, stands out for his calculated coldness. Described as “a man who puts everything on desire”, he seems to be at the heart of the tensions.

Kim Jin-man, played by Kim Hee-won, is a more measured character, torn between calculation and temptation. He is described as “a man held hostage by desire”.

Finally, the character of Director Park, played by Lee Kwang-soo, reveals an almost uncontrollable obsession, illustrated by an intense, unstable gaze. He is presented as “a man in pursuit of desire”.

With its complex characters and psychological stakes, “Gold Land” promises a captivating dive into the consequences of greed.
The 10-episode drama will kick off on April 29 with the release of the first 2 episodes, before airing two episodes a week.
