Nana could soon be making a comeback in a new drama.
According to the Korean media, the actress has been offered the lead role in “My Theresa”, a drama centered on power struggles around a university and private school foundations.
Her agency quickly reacted to the news, stating that the actress was «positively considering» the proposal.
A criminal psychologist at the heart of a power struggle
The drama will follow several characters desperate to reclaim a university once held by their mother before it was taken away from them. The plot is set to mix family rivalries, corruption and academic power struggles.
Nana was offered the role of Ma Theresa, a criminal psychologist described as a true genius, both intellectually brilliant and with a strong presence.
With this character, the drama seems intent on exploring psychological confrontations as much as more classic power plays.
The actress is currently continuing her string of projects. She recently starred in the drama “Climax” broadcast on ENA and will also appear this year in the Netflix series Scandal.
If her participation is confirmed, “Ma Theresa” could offer Nana a darker, more strategic role than her recent projects. To be continued!
