We already told you about it a little while ago, but now SBS has made official the main cast of its new sports drama “Full Count”starring Kim Rae-won and Park Hoon.
This project marks SBS's long-awaited return to the sports genre, several years after the success of “Stove League”. With a plot centered on the behind-the-scenes world of professional baseball, the series promises a mix of tension, ambition and rivalries.

A power struggle at the heart of professional baseball
“Full Count” will plunge viewers into a world where competition extends far beyond the pitch. The drama focuses on those fighting for the coveted position of manager of a baseball team, in an environment dominated by strategy, internal rivalries and games of influence.
Kim Rae-won plays the role of Hwang Jin-ho, coach turned interim manager of the Stars team as it teeters on the brink of elimination. A former player who remained in the shadows during his career, he has long been considered an outsider in a closed system that favors established figures. By accepting this position, he finds himself propelled into a high-risk situation, comparable to a veritable poisoned chalice.
Opposite him, Park Hoon plays Jo Dong-hee, former star pitcher and favorite to become the next manager. Despite an impressive career, he has never won a title, a shortcoming that now fuels his ambition. Seeing Hwang Jin-ho as an unworthy rival, he doesn't hesitate to consider using him to achieve his own goal.
The confrontation between these two characters, with their opposing trajectories, promises to be one of the drama's focal points, between personal rivalry and the quest for recognition.
“Full Count” is scheduled for broadcast in 2027 on SBS. Are you looking forward to seeing this drama?
