Hyeri could soon be making a comeback in an unexpected role. The actress is currently in talks to star in the new drama “Take Her with Care”a Korean remake of a successful Japanese series.
On April 7, her agency confirmed: «It's a project she's currently studying.»
A spy at the heart of a couple's life
“Take Her with Care” is the Korean adaptation of the Japanese drama “Caution, Hazardous Wife”, which aired in 2017. The story follows a wife who hides a secret identity as a spy, living under the same roof as her husband... himself a secret service agent.
Hyeri has been given the role of Jin Ja-young, a spy who chooses marriage as a cover to conceal her identity. A character combining action, mystery and married life, originally played by Ayase Haruka in the original version.
Na In-woo approached to play her husband
According to several sources, Na In-woo is in talks to play Jin Ja-young's husband. Behind his ordinary appearance is an intelligence agent, creating an explosive dynamic within the couple.
This duo already promises interesting chemistry, between secrets, tension and romance.
The drama would be directed by Yoo Seon-dong, known for the series “The Uncanny Counter”, and would mark a new collaboration with Hyeri after a previous project.
For the moment, the broadcast channel has not yet been confirmed.
