A new romantic project could bring together several popular K-drama faces. Actor Go Soo is currently in negotiations to join « Nine to Six« a future SBS series.
His agency confirmed the news, saying: «Go Soo is currently considering favourably the proposal to participate in Nine to Six. "
The drama tells the story of a woman who has long put her love life on hold because of her work. Her encounter with a caring man will gradually transform her vision of love and lead them to evolve together, both in their careers and in their personal lives. The project is adapted from the hit Chinese series 2021 The Rational Life.
A cast in training
Park Min-young and Yook Sung-jae (BTOB) are already in discussions for the lead roles. Go Soo has been offered the role of Park Hyun-tae, head of Zeus Motors' American headquarters.
This character is described as an elegant, intelligent man, convinced that solitude suits him perfectly. But his encounter with Park Min-young's character Kang Yi-ji begins to shake his certainties.
An experienced team behind the camera
The director would be Lee Hyung-min, known for Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and Miss Night and Day. Broadcasting is planned on SBS.
If negotiations are successful, Nine to Six could offer an adult romance centered on career and life choices.
