MBC unveils new images of the drama To The Moon, an adaptation of the novel of the same name that explores the lives of three working-class women trying to get by despite paltry wages, even if it means turning to cryptocurrencies.

Lee Sun-bin as a precarious employee
In this story, Lee Sun-bin embodies Jung Da-haea contract employee in Maron Confectionery's marketing and communications department. With no prestigious qualifications or network, she is one of the few people recruited outside the usual circuit. Despite a meagre salary, a precarious position and discreet discrimination by her colleagues, Da Hae refuses to give up and shows remarkable perseverance.
Opposite, Kim Young-dae lends his features to Ham Ji-wooHe's the head of the Big Data team at the same company. Competent, attractive and from a privileged background, he seems to have it all. Unlike Da Hae, he pursues his dreams rather than money, which makes their meeting even more out of sync.
An uneasy first meeting
The first images reveal an opening scene as funny as it is embarrassing. Stuck in an out-of-service massage chair, Da Hae pretends to be asleep when she is surprised by Ji Woo. He, impassive, remains indifferent to the situation, accentuating the unease of the moment.

The production team explained: "Their first meeting is anything but ordinary. Lee Sun-bin and Kim Young-dae have managed to turn this strange passage into a scene full of lightness. Following the evolution of their relationship will be one of the great attractions of the drama."
With this combination of social satire, romance and unexpected moments, "To The Moon" is shaping up to be one of the series to watch closely this year.
