This is one of the most original dramas of the new season: To the Moonsoon to be broadcast on MBCinvites us to follow the unlikely journey of 3 ordinary women who decide to bet everything on cryptocurrencies to change their destiny. A drama full of humanity, humor and twists and turns, led by a trio of actresses whom everything already seems to unite.

3 women, 3 generations, one dream

Adapted from the novel of the same name, To the Moon tells the story of Jung Da-hae (performed by Lee Sun-bin), a thirty-something woman who tries to keep hope alive despite the hard knocks of everyday life; Kang Eun-sang (Ra Mi-ran), a woman in her forties who lives for financial balance; and Kim Ji-song (Jo Aram), a carefree twenty-something who lives each day as if it were her last.

The trio meet as non-tenured employees of a confectionery named Maron. Tired of surviving on inadequate wages, they decide to embark on a daring crypto investment together, in the hope of a fresh start. What begins as a casual alliance turns into a true friendship, with its moments of laughter, tension, solidarity and, above all... change.

A human and resolutely topical drama

In the first images unveiled, the complicity between the 3 actresses is obvious. Every scene exudes sincerity, the weariness of social realities, but also the desire to get by in other ways. The drama promises to be a modern chronicle of everyday life, about money, dreams, failures, crypto and, above all, sisterhood.

The message is clear: when you've got nothing left to lose, sometimes daring is the only option. A poster also featuring Kim Young-dae, also headlining the series, was also unveiled.

The production team praised the exceptional atmosphere on set: "The chemistry between Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran and Jo Aram is incredible. Their positive energy, natural improvisations and bursts of laughter punctuated every day on set. We hope this warm atmosphere will touch viewers on screen."

Broadcast from September 19

With its light-hearted yet poignant tone, To the Moon promises to take us on a journey into a world rarely explored in Kdramas: the world of small salaries, risky choices... and strong friendships. A pleasant surprise for all those who love stories about courageous, modern, imperfect women.

Broadcast scheduled from September 19 on MBC (international broadcaster pending). Stay tuned for more news, teasers and behind-the-scenes footage!
