According to reports, the actor has been cast in the lead role of the drama \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/kdramakopi.com\/en\/kdrama\/outback\/\">Outback<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new series is based on the webtoon \u201cGeudae\u201d (Korean title), a mystery thriller published on the Lezhin Comics platform. The original story follows a man who travels to Australia in search of his missing sister, where he crosses paths with an enigmatic individual named Hans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this adaptation, Netflix is once again banking on a dark and intriguing tale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"1200\" src=\"https:\/\/kdramakopi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/outback-scaled.png\" alt=\"outback\" class=\"wp-image-7995\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A villainous role at the heart of the story<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kdramakopi.com\/en\/actor\/ryu-jun-yeol\/\" type=\"acteur\" id=\"7992\">Ryu Jun-yeol<\/a> is to play Hans, a central character in the story. In the original work, Hans is presented as an antagonist, which suggests an intense and potentially different interpretation in the dramatic version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The actor's choice for the role is already arousing curiosity, not least as to how the character will be adapted and developed on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ryu Jun-yeol has been very active of late, with one project after another.
