Broadcast from July 18, The Nice Guy<\/strong> tells the story of Park Seok-cheol<\/strong> (performed by Lee Dong Wook<\/strong>), the eldest grandson of a three-generation gangster family. In a recent interview, Lee Sung-kyung<\/strong> spoke movingly of his character in The Nice Guy<\/strong>. It describes Kang Mi-yeong<\/strong> as \"a strong woman who always keeps smiling despite a life full of hardships\". A role she approached with deep sincerity: \"I wanted to play Kang Mi Yeong in the hope that viewers would support this young woman who fights courageously every day.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee Sung-kyung spared no effort in bringing this heroine to life. She explains that Kang Mi-yeong<\/strong>who devotes her life to supporting her ailing mother, the dream of becoming a singer is \"a gift she gives to herself\". In order to perform the musical scenes to the best of her ability, the actress underwent rigorous training: \"I worked hard on the piano pieces and songs composed by the musical director. I put my heart and soul into the recordings and performances of every song Kang Mi Yeong sings in the drama.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
