The actress Jin Ki-joo<\/strong> could soon be making a comeback in a romantic comedy. On January 16, South Korean media outlet SPOTV News reported that Jin Ki-joo<\/a> was in talks to play the lead role in the upcoming drama \u00ab\u00a0Sleeping Doctor<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb(literal title).<\/p>\n\n\n

Shortly after the information was published, its agency Basecamp Company cautiously confirmed the news, saying: \u00ab Sleeping Doctor<\/em> is a project for which it has received a proposal and is currently examining.\u00bb No final decision has yet been made, but the announcement is already generating a great deal of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A rom-com between inner wounds and healing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sleeping Doctor<\/em> is presented as a romantic comedy combining medicine and emotions. The story follows Hong Gyeong, a promising psychiatrist able to help his patients, but unable to heal his own inner wounds. Opposite him is Nam Ji-oh, a doctor nicknamed the \u00abHua Tuo of the hospital world\u00bb<\/em>, renowned for its almost miraculous ability to revive hospitals on the verge of bankruptcy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Jin Ki-joo accepts the role, she would carry one of the central characters of this duo, in a story that promises to explore emotional healing, personal reconstruction and a romance na means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is currently in the casting phase and is still discussing its broadcaster and broadcast schedule. No male partners or shooting dates have yet been announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
