SBS made a big impact during the 2025 SBS Drama Awards<\/strong> by unveiling a special teaser for \u00ab\u00a0Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia<\/a>\u00abAdapted from the famous Japanese series Doctor X<\/em>, this new medical drama promises to be an intense medical noir, carried by Kim Ji-won<\/strong> in a role radically different from her previous heroines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An outsider surgeon in a corrupt hospital<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kim Ji-won plays Gye Soo-jung<\/strong>, a brilliant surgeon sent by a temporary medical staffing agency, sadly nicknamed the \u00abmad dog of the operating room.\" \"<\/em>. In a hospital world dominated by money, networks, and power games, Soo-jung believes in only one thing: pure competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teaser shows her making a dramatic entrance at Guseo University Hospital, an institution riddled with corruption.
