These images perfectly illustrate the duality of the passage of time, showing the heroines over a glass in two different eras: their dreamy 20s, and their reflective, nostalgic 40s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This bittersweet comedy follows three 41-year-old women exhausted by daily life, work and parenthood. Today, she has put her career on hold to raise her 2 sons. <strong>Han Hye-jin<\/strong> plays Gu Joo-young, an art center director who seems to have everything she needs to be happy, but who hides an intimate struggle: trying to have a child with her asexual husband. In their 20s, Na-jung, Joo-young and Il-li find themselves on the rooftop of Il-li's Bar, smiling and full of ambition, raising a glass to a future full of promise. Fourteen years later, the same women meet in a cosy lounge, surrounded by children's toys. Carefree laughter has given way to knowing, nostalgic glances, as they share a drink and reflect on the paths they've taken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series <strong>No Next Life<\/strong> promises a realistic yet touching tone on femininity, friendship and life choices in adulthood.
