The next ENA channel drama, My Golden Star<\/a><\/strong>promises to be as crazy as it is touching. In a first poster and teaser unveiled today, the series features Jang Da-ah<\/strong> in the role of a Hallyu star who wakes up... 25 years later, in the body of a 50-year-old woman played by Uhm Jung-hwa<\/strong> !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A star gone, a memory gone, a new life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

My Golden Star<\/strong> is a romantic comedy with an original concept: Im Se-ra<\/strong> (played by Jang Da-ah), adored idol and top Korean star, mysteriously disappears before waking up one day as a Bong Cheong-ja<\/strong> (Uhm Jung-hwa), an ordinary housewife in her fifties. She has no memory of the last 25 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disoriented and in denial, she crosses paths with Dokgo Chul<\/strong> (performed by Song Seung-heon<\/strong>), a former top detective demoted to traffic duty. Far from being impressed by this stranger's claims to be a missing celebrity, he ends up asking questions...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A poster that speaks volumes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The poster shows Im Se-ra, in her pink evening dress, staring at her reflection in the mirror. But what she discovers in the mirror stuns her: she sees an older woman, modestly dressed, wearing cleaning gloves... The slogan is unmistakable: \"I woke up and 25 years were gone?!\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

First teaser with humor and emotion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the teaser, Bong Cheong Ja refuses to believe in her new reality. Facing the mirror, she screams: \"What?! Are you telling me I'm 50?!\"<\/strong> Once dubbed \"Korea's first love\", she finds herself thrust into a mundane, anonymous life, far removed from the spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dokgo Chul, for his part, looks at her indifferently at first. When she asks him, sunglasses on: \"You recognize me, don't you?\"<\/em>he replies coldly: \"Should I?\"<\/em> But before long, the shadow of a doubt creeps in... What if it really was about the<\/strong> Im Se-ra?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With its blend of fantasy, humor and emotion, My Golden Star<\/strong> promises to explore universal themes such as the passage of time, identity and the quest for self.
