Fans of «Guardian: The Lonely and Great God» (better known as «Goblin») can rejoice: the main cast of the cult drama recently reunited for a special program celebrating its 10th anniversary.
According to tvN, Gong Yoo, Kim Go-eun, Lee Dong-wook and Yoo In-na took part in the filming of a variety show in travel format (to celebrate 10 years, they had already produced this format for the 10 years of Reply 1988«). Filming took place over two days, from April 24 to 25, in the town of Gangneung in Gangwon province.
An eagerly awaited anniversary program
This project is part of a special program planned to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the drama, which originally aired in 2016 and has since become a must-see reference.
The show will be directed by Hwang Da-won, known for his work on programs such as “Handsome Trot” and “City Girls on the Climb”. This travel-centric format should offer viewers a nostalgic yet convivial moment, highlighting the complicity between the actors.
Highly anticipated by fans, this reunion show should recapture the dynamic that made the series such a success, while offering a new approach through more natural and spontaneous exchanges.
