After several years' absence from the small screen, Lee Joon-gi is preparing his comeback with an international drama. The actor will star in “Kidnap Game”an Asian production featuring several stars from different countries.
He will be joined by Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro and Taiwanese actress Gaga Yan, promising an unprecedented collaboration between Asian talents.

A multi-country thriller on a grand scale
“Kidnap Game” promises to be an ambitious project, centered on a series of simultaneous kidnappings occurring in seven major Asian cities. The story will plunge the characters into an extreme situation, where they will have to take part in a dangerous game putting their lives at risk.

Described as one of Fuji TV's most important international co-productions, the drama aims for a scale rarely seen, with a global plot and a multicultural cast.
The project had already attracted attention earlier this year when footage circulated showing Lee Joon-gi and Sakaguchi Kentaro shooting in Taiwan.
For Lee Joon-gi, this drama marks a long-awaited comeback 3 years after his last appearance in a series, reinforcing the interest in this international project.
“Kidnap Game” is scheduled for broadcast in October on Fuji TV.
