MBC has unveiled the first images of Park Se-young in his next daily drama « Family Resister »marking the actress' return to television after several years' absence.
This new series will tell the story of a person accused from birth of destroying a family, and the struggle of a woman determined to overcome prejudice and a particularly cruel fate to regain control of her life.
Park Se-young portrays an artist full of dreams
In the drama, Park Se-young interpreter Na Ji-ni, is a passionate young artist who has studied traditional Korean painting. Her dream is to contribute to the development of Korean animation and create works capable of reaching an international audience.
But behind the appearance of a privileged woman lie deep emotional wounds that will influence her journey throughout the story.
The first images unveiled show Na Ji-ni observing an art exhibition, contemplating works of art attentively or holding a bouquet of flowers, illustrating both her artistic passion and her sensitivity.

A long-awaited return after several years
This project marks Park Se-young's first TV drama since the tvN drama «Mental Coach Jegal» in 2022. It is also her first role since marrying actor Kwak Jung-wook in 2022 and giving birth to their first daughter in 2025.
Fans of the actress were eagerly awaiting her return to the screen, especially as she had not been involved in any projects for several years.
A performance praised by the production
The drama team was particularly complimentary about her performance: «Park Se-young portrays Na Ji-ni's human warmth and emotional depth with finesse. Her acting has become even more mature during her absence, and she carries the drama with remarkable presence.»
